Los Angeles Superior Court Consolidation Plan Update

To address a significant budget shortfall for the 2013-2014 Fiscal Year, the Los Angeles Superior Court will be reorganizing its operations by implementing a Court Consolidation Plan. Changes will be implemented in phases commencing in March 2013, and continuing through June 30, 2013.

Some of the changes will come into effect on Monday, March 18, 2013.

While all new Collection cases will be filed in either Chatsworth or Norwalk beginning March 18th, all subsequent documents will continue to be filed in their originating branch court locations until their case files are officially moved. The moves will be staggered from week to week and will take until July to complete for the entire county.
