This year, attendees also had the pleasure of meeting entertaining characters who added an extra layer of fun to the event.

From insightful workshops to lively networking sessions, attendees left with a wealth of knowledge and connections. Find out more in
our event recap below.

Why NALA is Such a Great Event for Paralegals

The NALA Conference & Expostands out as a must-attend events for paralegals. It offers a unique platform to network, share knowledge, and stay abreast of the latest industry trends. It's a fantastic opportunity to connect with other legal professionals, learn from their experiences, and earn continuing education credits.

The conference boasted diverse educational sessions, workshops, and seminars covering a wide range of topics, including technology, ethics, and litigation support. These sessions provided valuable insights, making it a comprehensive learning experience for paralegals and other legal professionals.

Many paralegals highlighted that they attend NALA to connect with vendors like ABC Legal that offer solutions to streamline their work. Attendees shared that while receiving swag is fun, their main focus is learning about services that simplify their workload.

More than 30 exhibitors attended the event. Vendors offered a variety of solutions, such as expert translation and interpretation services, court reporting and litigation support, cloud-based trial preparation and transcript management assistance, and, of course, nationwide service of process.

Ultimately, the conference provided a platform for legal professionals to enhance their skills, network, and advance their careers.

Key Moments at the Conference & Expo

Memorable Experiences
NALA Conference & Expo coordinators ensured everyone had a fantastic time. Among the event highlights were taking photos with the KFC Derby Hat Winner and engaging with Buddy Bat, the lively mascot of the Louisville Bats baseball team.

We also met Hank the Horse,a remarkable 1,800-pound rescue who now serves as the brand ambassador for the nonprofit rescue organization named after him. Witnessing the unforgettable showdown between Hank and Buddy was an unforgettable experience for everyone at the event.

Solutions For Paralegals
NALA attendees were enthusiastic about connecting with us and exploring how ABC Legal can enhance their workflow and give them the reassurance they need to be confident in their case progress. They were enthusiastic about ABC Legal's online platform, which offers real-time updates, photo evidence, and GPS coordinates, keeping them informed and efficient in their roles.

During the event, we were thrilled to receive an invitation from Vernis McGill, president-elect of the Capital Area Paralegal Association, to showcase our demo to its members and paralegals. McGill was excited to find a digitally focused service-of-process solution that could be used by paralegals from any state.

With 50 years of experience, ABC Legal is a trusted ally for paralegals, handling 1 in 5 legal documents served across the U.S. Conference attendees were excited about the reliability and user-friendly features that could streamline their workflow and allow them more time to focus on their clients.

Why Should Paralegals Who Missed NALA Attend Next Year?

Attending NALA is a fantastic opportunity for paralegals to access valuable resources, networking opportunities, and professional development that can elevate their careers and keep them competitive in the legal industry.

With next year's conference marking its 25th year, attendees can expect even more beneficial educational and networking experiences.
