Checking Job Details and Special Instructions

Where to find job-specific notes and legal requirements before attempting service.

Before attempting service on a job, it is essential to review any job-specific notes, along with customer and court requirements. This ensures that compliance is consistently maintained for each job.

Where To Find Special Instructions and Requirements

📱 ABC Mobile

In ABC Mobile, you can find special instructions and requirements listed in the Job Details of each individual job.

  • Instructions - In the "Instructions" section, you may find special handling requests, as well as notifications regarding upcoming or overdue attempts. It is essential to review this section daily, as updates may be made following ABC's manual review, providing specific guidance on required information or attempts.
  • Customer Requirements - If a customer has specific requests regarding the handling of a job, these will be listed under the "Vary Your Attempts" section. These requests should be followed with the same diligence as court requirements. Failure to follow these requirements may result in a transgression.
Unlike the "Instructions" section of ABC Mobile, these requirements are fixed and will not change.
  • Court Requirements - A job's court requirements will be listed at the bottom of the job details page, typically under the customer requirements (if applicable). These requests should be followed unless instructed otherwise*. Failure to follow these requirements may result in a transgression.
Unlike the "Instructions" section of ABC Mobile, these requirements are fixed and will not change.

*Example: In Texas, a court requirement may say to not post; however, if an Order for Alternate Service has been granted this overrules the original court requirement.
