      Fee Check for Subpoena Orders

      Some orders may require an advance payment for witness fees or document production.

      In cases where orders need a witness fee, ABC Legal will include the eCheck for fee advance along with the order documents.

      When serving the subpoena, the fee advance check must be provided to the individual accepting service.

      Missing an eCheck for Advance Payment?

      If an advance payment is required for a witness fee or document production, and the eCheck is missing:

      1. Option 1 (Fastest): If possible, advance the fee. ABC Legal will reimburse the amount promptly.

      2. Option 2: Request an eCheck by completing the eCheck request form. Be sure to include:

        • The name the check should be made out to (typically the servee).
        • The amount of the check.
        • The state where the order is located.

        Requests with all required details will be processed within 24 hours to avoid delays.
