Jobs Pending Review

Understanding the best possible action when your jobs are queued for ABC review.

Any time an order needs to be reviewed on our end, we will let you know by placing that order under the instruction as “Pending ABC Review” or “Hold pending review of non-service.” These orders are regularly reviewed within 2 business days.

What Should I Do If I See This?

If you see a review instruction in ABC Mobile, then we are already looking at the order and you should have a proof to sign or further instructions shortly.

No action is necessary of you at this time.

⚠️ If a job is awaiting ABC review, Process Server Support will be unable to provide assistance until the respective department has completed its review.

Types of Review

  • Missed Requirement: When any requirement is missed on a service, we will want to review the order before generating the proof of service.
  • Initial Review: Every process server goes through an Initial Review Period during which all services will be manually reviewed.
  • Further Investigation: In certain cases, we will review an order to offer additional guidance for a successful service. Alternatively, we may return it to your list to request further clarification for ABC.

How Can I Prevent Jobs from Pending?

When a job is queued for manual review by ABC, it is not always a cause for concern. However, avoiding common errors can help prevent delays in order resolution. These include:

✅ Following attempt reporting requirements.

✅ Staying away from service restrictions.

✅ Documenting everything that occurred during the attempt - no note is too small! The more information we have, the better.
