What to Do If the App Is Not Working

Basic troubleshooting steps for common app issues.

If you encounter issues while using the ABC Mobile app, follow these steps to resolve them:

1. Check Your Internet Connection 

  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data).

  • Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data to see if the issue persists.

2. Restart the App

  • Close the app completely and reopen it.

  • On iOS: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and close the app.

  • On Android: Open recent apps and swipe the app away.

3. Restart Your Device

  • Power off your device and turn it back on.

  • Reopen the ABC Mobile app to check if the issue is resolved.

4. Update the App

  • Check the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) for updates.

  • If an update is available, install it and try again.

5. Clear Cache and Data (Android Only)

  • Go to Settings > Apps > ABC Mobile > Storage.

  • Tap Clear Cache and then Clear Data.

  • Restart the app.

6. Reinstall the App

  • Uninstall the ABC Mobile app from your device.

  • Restart your device.

  • Reinstall the app from the App Store or Google Play Store.

7. Check for Device Updates

  • Ensure your operating system is up to date.

  • On iOS: Go to Settings > General > Software Update.

  • On Android: Go to Settings > System > Software Update.

8. Ensure Location Services Are Enabled

  • ABC Mobile does requires location access, ensure it is enabled.

  • On iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > ABC Mobile.

  • On Android: Settings > Location > App Permissions > ABC Mobile.

9. Check for Service Outages

  • If there are scheduled service outages, or the app is temporarily down, we will send out a email communication to the email address we have on file with your account notifying you of the status. 

📆 For expected or already identified outages, please do not contact support. 

10. Contact Support

  • If the issue persists, contact ABC Legal Support.

  • Provide details such as:

    • The issue you are experiencing.

    • Error messages (if any).

    • Steps you've already tried.

    • Device model and operating system version.
