Rising as a well-deserved pillar in our nation’s economy, the gig workforce continues to make significant contributions to the US job market and GDP. Last year, the gig economy contributed close to 5%, or $1 trillion to the U.S. GDP.

ABC Legal Services appointed Brandon Fuller as chief technology officer. Fuller is the founder and CEO of Docketly, a subsidiary of ABC Legal, providing appearance counsel on a digital, custom-built platform. ABC Legal acquired Docketly in 2019 with Fuller remaining as the president of the company.

Firms, like other organizations, had to get creative and adapt quickly to remote working situations after COVID-19 hit. Technology has made getting work done remotely more seamless, but one piece is hard for even technology to completely replicate: feeling connected and engaged with your colleagues.
